Responsibilities include feeding, medicating socializing of shelter cats.
Caretaker responsibilities also require substantial cleaning and sanitizing of the cats living spaces.
The majority of the cats are in a free-roaming environment and some are separated in medical areas in caged spaces during recovery.
Cat shelter is open M-F 8am-6pm and Sat and Sun 9am-4pm, shifts vary.
Weekend day is required.
Adoption Counselors also show potential adopters through the shelter to help find the perfect pet.
This is a very physical position.
Candidate should be able to lift up to 50lbs.
and be able to use the required sanitizing materials.
