Summary:
We are seeking a talented and creative kitchen designer to join our team in East Northport, NY (Suffolk County, Long Island).
The ideal candidate will be passionate about translating clients' ideas into functional and aesthetically pleasing kitchen designs.
A kitchen designer will collaborate with clients, architects and contractors to create innovative kitchen layouts that combine functionality, style and practicality.
Key
Responsibilities:
Customer assistance Accurately translate rough measurements into working designs in a short time frame.
Experience in sales and direct communication with clients is required.
Assist the sales department in maintaining customer accounts.
Managing the design process, from initial layout to final order.
Maintain a positive attitude and stay organized under pressure.
Qualification:
Minimum 2 years of experience in retail furniture sales in a luxury store (preferred) Proven track record of successful sales Computer skills Experience in retail interior design is preferred.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines.
Work schedule 5 days a week.
Transportation is provided from Brooklyn (Sheepshead Bay) and Queens.
